Operations Asset Manager

What You'll Do
- Manage hardware and consumable inventory, including stockroom organization, deployment readiness, and disposal activities.
- Maintain and audit asset management databases, ensuring accurate asset, warranty, licensing, and service agreement records.
- Monitor hardware and software asset compliance and support licensing reviews, purchase agreements, and audit readiness.
- Lead hardware refresh planning and execution while tracking quality throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Oversee asset resale and disposal processes, including verification of data destruction requirements.
- Create, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures related to asset management processes and controls.
- Provide reporting, metrics, automation recommendations, and self-service enhancements to improve operational efficiency and inform leadership decision-making.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 2+ years of Asset Management or similar industry experience.
- Working knowledge of hardware, including desktops, laptops, thin clients, and mobile devices.
- Experience with network protocols and security policy as it relates to desktop operating systems and computing environments.
- Knowledge of IT asset tracking tools, including IT service desk platforms.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience supporting Windows and Macintosh platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
- 2+ years of experience with product order placement.
- 2+ years of experience with inventory control, asset management, and asset tracking.
- CompTIA A+ Certification and familiarity with ITIL Foundations and IT Service Management best practices.
