What You’ll Do
Plan, organize, and manage all phases of assigned IT projects, including scope definition, scheduling, resource coordination, and delivery tracking.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, work breakdown structures, estimates, and milestone driven roadmaps.
Monitor and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring transparency and timely escalation.
Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Identify and remove project impediments, evaluate alternative solutions, and drive alignment on key decisions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure deliverables meet quality, technical, and compliance standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation and support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
What You’ll Bring
Strong leadership and project management skills with a focus on scope, schedule, and delivery outcomes.
Deep understanding of Agile principles, with experience in hybrid and traditional project management approaches.
Experience creating and managing work breakdown structures, project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps.
Solid knowledge of software development lifecycles, system processes, and large scale technology delivery.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, including the ability to assess constraints and recommend effective solutions.
Experience using project and productivity tools such as Jira, MS Project, Excel, and collaboration platforms.
Ability to influence, motivate, and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Bonus Points
Scrum Master certification.
Project Management certification such as PMP, Project+, or Prince2.
Experience supporting technology initiatives in higher education or similarly complex environments.
Experience in Lieu of Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education at the discretion of the hiring manager.
