What You’ll Do
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for accessibility across platforms and products
- Lead audits and accessibility testing to ensure compliance with WCAG standards
- Develop and execute remediation plans to address accessibility gaps
- Partner with designers, engineers, and product managers to embed accessibility into product development
- Create and maintain accessibility guidelines, processes, and documentation
- Mentor team members and provide training on accessibility best practices and ADA awareness
- Manage multiple complex accessibility initiatives and drive continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
- Expert knowledge of WCAG, Section 508, and ADA standards
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex accessibility concepts
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and testing tools such as screen readers and audit tools
- Understanding of mobile accessibility across iOS and Android
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for process and performance improvement
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently and collaboratively
- 6 years of experience in Technical Accessibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Assistive Technology, User Experience, Information Technology, Information Design, or related field.
Bonus Points
- IAAP CPACC certification
- Experience with ARIA, semantic HTML, and JavaScript accessibility techniques
- Background in UX, UI, interaction design, or accessibility research
